Texas State Fair

0 Happy Thoughts
We sure had a BLAST at the Texas State Fair. Preston was SUPPOSED to nap before we went but the little stinker did not nap at all and we didn't want to go too late so we decided to just go ahead and fore go the nap and head out. Luckily Preston is a happy child no matter what but especially when he's distracted by new things. Talk about distraction at the fair. Between all the people, loud sounds, animals and other fun things Preston just stared and took it all in. Preston loved the petting zoo and it was so cute to watch him with all the animals. He absolutely loves animals. We then put his shoes on and let him run around and he was LOVING life. He kinda got ahead of himself and ran too fast and took one GOOD fall and then just a few teeters.
Unfortunately Preston is not that child that can sleep anywhere. I mean, he could, he just doesn't because he doesn't want to miss what's going on. So after a few hours of running, petting animals and playing in cars that cost almost 1/2 as much as our HOUSE, Preston was tired. My dad was pushing him in his stroller while we were all walking around and we looked over and sure enough he had fallen sleep. He must have been REALLY tired to fall asleep with so much noise and entertainment surrounding him. Anyways, we all started to feel tired as well and after spending enough money, eating yummy fair food and the Ranger's game about to start, we called it quits and headed home. We had so much fun. Thanks for coming Mom and Dad. :)
